Collaborations in Discipline-based Education Research (CiDER): A summer REU program
Are you, or do you have an outstanding undergraduate student interested in learning and teaching in STEM? Do you have a student who has gone above and beyond inside or outside the classroom? Perhaps a student showing an abundance of creativity and drive? These students have the skills we are looking for in our summer research program! Please encourage them to apply for the NDSU Discipline-Based Education Research (DBER) REU program.
They are excited to announce the 10th year of their summer REU in discipline-based education at North Dakota State University. Our program is an excellent opportunity for students interested in learning and teaching of STEM at the undergraduate level. Students work in a cohort of undergraduate scholars over a 10-week period during the summer and are immersed in hands-on research experiences in discipline-based education research. Students are housed on-campus and earn a $6000 stipend.
Students may have the opportunity to present their research at a national conference with travel support from our REU. Additional travel funding is available for travel to and from Fargo for those in financial need.
The program begins May 30, 2023 and runs through August 5, 2023. Applications are due January 18, 2023.
